Ayurveda, the science of ancient healing, uses a holistic approach with an emphasis on preventative health care to promote physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health through balancing your diet, lifestyle and routine.

In Ayurveda, one size does not fit all when it comes to maintaining physical and mental health. The key to maintaining balance is to follow a diet and lifestyle best suited for your Dosha. There are three Dosha’s: Pitta, Kapha, and Vata. These are the energies that make up every individual, but usually one is more dominant than the others. We all have each of the Doshas present in our constitution, just in varying combinations and degrees.

Recognizing your primary Dosha and customizing your treatment is what sets Ayurveda apart from the Western medicine approach of treating every person the same for certain conditions/diseases.
